This site is home to Matt Rogers and Mark White, Chapman Stick^® fretboardists. The Stick is a unique and exquisite instrument invented in 1969 by its namesake, Emmett Chapman. The Stick was designed to be tapped with both hands, playing bass and melody simultaneously. This provides the tremendous musical advantage of piano-style playing, but with the soulful expression of strings. Now imagine 2 of them! The result is an elegant, enchanting sound that leaves a lasting impression upon those who experience it.
